Step 1: Overview

Step 2: Control a party of heroes in turn-based battles, learn magic from Espers, explore towns and dungeons, and follow the main story while picking up side quests and secrets 😊.

Step 3: Start the Adventure

Step 4: Install the game, choose language, and begin a New Game. Watch the opening scenes, then follow story prompts and on-screen tips to move Terra and talk to NPCs.

Step 5: Move, Talk, and Interact

Step 6: Use the virtual pad or buttons to walk around. Tap or press Confirm near people or objects to talk, open chests, read signs, and trigger switches or story events.

Step 7: Battle Basics

Step 8: When combat starts, wait for each character’s ATB bar to fill, then choose Attack, Skill, or Item. Target enemies, watch HP, and use Potions or healing spells when health gets low 🩹.

Step 9: Use Espers and Magic

Step 10: Equip Espers from the menu to characters so they can learn spells by earning Magic Points. Level up, then open the Magic list in battle to cast Fire, Cure, and more for damage or support.

Step 11: Manage Gear and Party

Step 12: From the main menu, equip stronger weapons, armor, and relics to boost stats. Rearrange the party, place fragile mages in the back row, and set favorites as leaders for different strategies.
