Step 1: Start Your Birding Journey

Step 2: The goal is to earn the most points by playing birds, laying eggs, and triggering powerful combos across three habitats: forest, grassland, and wetland. Each round, choose one action and plan ahead carefully 😉

Step 3: Learn the Interface

Step 4: Check the three habitats on your board, your hand of bird cards, food tokens, and eggs. Tap icons or cards for quick explanations. Use the pause or help menus to review rules anytime.

Step 5: Gain Food in the Forest

Step 6: Select the forest row to roll the dice in the birdfeeder and collect food. Different birds need different food types, so take what matches the birds in your hand. More forest birds = stronger food actions.

Step 7: Lay Eggs in Grassland

Step 8: Choose the grassland row to place eggs on your birds. Eggs are needed to play new birds and score points. Watch egg limits on each card and spread them wisely for end-of-round goals.

Step 9: Draw Cards in Wetland

Step 10: Use the wetland row to draw new bird cards from the deck or face-up display. Try to pick birds that match your habitat strategy and available food. More wetland birds mean more card draw power.

Step 11: Play Birds to Habitats

Step 12: Spend food and sometimes eggs to place a bird into a habitat slot. Each bird has a cost, a special power, and a point value. Position birds where their abilities best support your long-term plan.

Step 13: Trigger Bird Powers & Scoring

Step 14: Every time an action is used, move left across that row, activating bird abilities. Combo effects to gain extra food, eggs, or cards. After four rounds, add points from birds, eggs, cached food, tucked cards, and bonuses to see who rules the skies 🏆
