LIMBO

LIMBO

What is LIMBO?

Dark Puzzle Adventure A monochrome puzzle-platformer where a boy wakes up on the edge of hellish woods and searches for his sister. No tutorials, no hand-holding—just eerie silence, clever physics puzzles, and sudden "oh no" moments 😱.

Moody Minimalist Style Everything is black, white, and shadow, creating a cinematic horror vibe. No HUD, no text—only sound and silhouette guide the way. Every frame feels like a creepy wallpaper, perfect for players who love atmosphere 🎬.

Smart, Deadly Puzzles Traps, gravity tricks, and physics-based challenges block every step. Mistakes are often fatal, but respawns are instant, turning each death into a hint. Fail fast, learn faster, and enjoy the "one more try" loop 🔁.

Touch-Friendly Experience Optimized for mobile with precise touch controls and smooth checkpoints. Short sessions are possible, but the tension keeps players hooked. Great with headphones for full creepiness and subtle audio clues 🎧.

How to play LIMBO?

  • Basic Idea
  • Guide the boy through a dangerous world by running, jumping, and interacting with objects to solve puzzles and avoid deadly traps. Learn by trying, failing, and trying again 💀.
  • Move and Jump
  • Swipe or tap the left/right side of the screen to walk, and tap near the edge or gesture up to jump over gaps, traps, and obstacles.
  • Grab and Pull Objects
  • Press and hold on crates, levers, or ropes, then drag to push or pull them. Use boxes to reach high ledges or to block threats like rolling boulders.
  • Watch the Environment
  • Look for subtle hints: loose wires, suspicious ground, or moving shadows. If something looks unsafe, it probably is—approach slowly and test with small steps.
  • Learn From Each Death
  • Falling into spikes or getting crushed resets you at a nearby checkpoint instantly. Use each failure to understand timing, trap patterns, and safe paths.
  • Time Jumps and Slides
  • Some puzzles need precise timing. Run first, then jump at the last moment to clear gaps, or stop and adjust position before activating moving platforms.
  • Use Headphones and Patience
  • Listen for sounds like gears, electricity, or footsteps to anticipate danger. Take time, explore carefully, and experiment—there is usually more than one way to approach a puzzle 😈.
