How to play Castaways?
- Getting Started ⛵
- Join the game, spawn on a tiny island, and begin collecting anything that washes ashore. Follow the basic prompts to learn how to gather, craft, and expand without feeling overwhelmed.
- Collect Floating Resources 🌊
- Walk along the shore and grab wood, leaves, and crates drifting in the water. Move close and tap/click them to pick them up. These basics fuel almost everything you build early on.
- Craft Essential Tools 🧰
- Open the crafting menu, check available recipes, and start with simple tools like an axe or fishing rod. Use these tools to gather resources faster and unlock new crafting options.
- Expand Your Island 🏝️
- Use collected materials to place new floor tiles and structures. Tap on empty sea tiles near your island to build outwards, creating more space for farms, storage, and decorations.
- Farm and Fish for Food 🎣
- Plant seeds in soil plots and water them regularly, then harvest when they’re ready. Cast a line with the fishing rod from the edge of your island to catch fish and keep your character fed.
- Build and Sail a Raft 🚤
