How to play 8 Ball Pool?
- Basic Idea
- Pot all balls from your assigned group (solids or stripes), then legally sink the black 8-ball to win. Use drag-and-aim controls, manage power, and apply spin to control the cue ball.
- Start a Match
- Open the game and choose a mode: 1v1, tournament, or play with friends. Tap a room with an entry fee you can afford, then confirm to join the match.
- Understand Ball Groups
- After the break, the first legally potted ball decides groups: solids (1–7) or stripes (9–15). Stick to your group only. Hitting the wrong group first or potting the 8-ball too early is a foul.
- Aim Your Shot
- Drag your finger on the screen to move the cue stick line. Use the guideline to see the ball’s path. Zoom in if needed by pinching, and fine-tune angles with small finger movements 🤏.
- Control Shot Power
- Hold the cue power bar on the side and drag it back to set strength. Short drag for soft, precise shots; long drag for powerful breaks or long-distance hits. Release to strike the cue ball.
- Use Spin and Positioning
- Tap the cue ball icon to add spin: top for forward roll, bottom for backspin, sides for side spin. Adjusting spin helps keep the cue ball in a good spot for the next shot, not just the current one.
- Win the Game Cleanly
- Pot all balls from your group first. When only the 8-ball is left, call the pocket (if required) and sink it without fouling. Avoid potting the cue ball or hitting the opponent’s balls first on critical shots 😬.
